Allan Schultz was born in Minnesota, and has lived in the Bay Area ever since 1960. He received his B.S. from San Jose State in 1969 and his M.S from U.C. Berkeley in 1971; both degrees were in Mechanical Engineering. He then worked as a mechanical engineer for three years before going back to the University of California at San Francisco to receive his D.D.S. degree in 1979. He has been practicing dentistry in Alameda ever since.
Dr. Schultz has been a member of the Alameda City Dental Society and the Alameda County Dental Society since 1979. He also was a faculty member at the U.C.S.F School of Dentistry for six years. In his free, time he is a part-time fire lookout in the Sierras during the summer months, and is highly involved in fine woodworking. Ultimately, he wants to create unique woodworking designs. Most of all, he enjoys spending quality time with his grandson.
