Carla Dodge grew up in Oakland, CA. She went to Pomona College and got her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1973, and her B.S. and D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco in 1977. She has been practicing dentistry ever since.

Dr. Dodge has been a member of the Alameda City Dental Society and the Alameda County Dental Society since 1977. She is a past member of the Peer Review Committee. Carla presently is President-elect of the Alameda County Dental Society. She is also a member of the Soroptimist International Service Organization. In her limited free time, she likes to travel, play tennis and ski.
